Committed to Justice and Advocacy.
hūmānus is a lawyers’ collective working with survivors of mass human rights violations. Eva founded the organisation in 2020 and has led the organisation since. During this time she has led litigation against Meta Inc. for its role in crimes against the Rohingya; investigated crimes against humanity and genocide; and built cases for accountability for victims of the worst crimes imaginable.
At hūmānus, we are an international human rights organisation dedicated to confronting the root causes of injustice, amplifying the voices of victims of mass atrocities, and pushing for systemic change. Our work is grounded in accountability, dignity, and the power of survivor-led justice.
Founded by a global team of experienced advocates, international lawyers, and frontline organisers, hūmānus directly supports survivors of genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, displacement, and repression. Our approach is deeply collaborative: we listen first, act with integrity, and always follow the lead of those most affected by harm, ensuring a truly survivor-centred approach.
